My magic got off to a fast start this season with a performance at Elyria’s Taste of the South festival Saturday, June 13. Sponsored by the Second Baptist Church, the annual event was held on the grounds of the Hamilton Head Start Center. Amidst the music and the concession stands I stood at the public library’s table and performed in the heat for several hours. Nevertheless, I had a thoroughly enjoyable time performing rope tricks and other close-up magic for groups of onlookers.
