A New Year

I hope you had a good holiday season! Mine was busy but very enjoyable, a lot of time spent with family. We all got together at the home of a sibling in rural Pennsylvania. Although lack of snow made some winter sports problematic, there were still plenty of other activities to keep us busy. A family talent show was scheduled for Christmas Eve, and there was a real diversity of acts. We had saxophone playing, tap dancing, and poetry reading, among other things. My contribution was a brief magic show. I used the opportunity to try out some new tricks, performed a couple of sleight-of-hand routines, and did balloon twisting for the children. We all had a good time.
